The children then applied their knowledge of variables to improve their own computer games. The children used 'Scratch' to program their computer games and included variables in their program (the orange commands). Some of the children used 'score' variables, other used 'time' and 'lives' variables. Here are some examples of the children's work:

Money-making maths in Reception

Last week, Reception class used their maths skills (weighing, measuring, counting and more!) to make chocolate apples to sell at our annual Fireworks night. We raised £25 for our class - thank you to everyone who purchased one of our delicious chocolate apples!
