Ducklings arrive in Reception!

We have had a very exciting first week back! Indian Runner Duck eggs were kindly delivered from High Mead Farm on Tuesday morning and by Wednesday some of the ducklings had hatched! We’ve had lots of fun getting to know them and the children had the opportunity to hold the ducklings and learn about what is special about this specific breed. We will have the ducklings next week and will continue to observe, write about them and learn about their life cycle. Next week we will also be learning about different ways of making 6 and 7.

Happy Easter!

The children had a fun last week at school before the Easter Holiday. We completed our Golden Egg stories, which was the first time we had all written our own story. Miss Emerson was very impressed with how our writing has been developing since September. Here are some pictures from our chocolate nest making. Have a lovely Easter Holiday!
