

Down on the farm.
The children drew and painted some lovely images from the photos taken at Farmer Palmer's. They mixed watercolours and used permanent marker to create some really effective pieces of art. We also wrote some fantastic descriptions of the animals we had seen. We had fun using our estimating skills in maths. Our Trip to Farmer Palmer's
Reception had lots of fun this week! We all really enjoyed getting to meet all the animals at the farm. We got to feed the sheep, stroke the pigs and watch the cow get milked. We even found time to ride the tractors, play in the park and go for a walk. Next week we will be continuing to write a recount of the day and about our favourite animals that we saw. What the Ladybird Heard
The children have enjoyed reading our class book, What the Ladybird Heard. We used adjectives to describe the baddies, Lanky Len and Hefty Hugh, and make 'Wanted' posters. The children produced some fantastic descriptions. In maths, we re-visited 3D shape and looked at the properties and played games to support this. We really enjoyed programming directions into the B eebots and building mazes and roads for them to move through. Next week, we will re-write our own version of
