Ducklings arrive in Reception!

We have had a very exciting first week back! Indian Runner Duck eggs were kindly delivered from High Mead Farm on Tuesday morning and by Wednesday some of the ducklings had hatched! We’ve had lots of fun getting to know them and the children had the opportunity to hold the ducklings and learn about what is special about this specific breed. We will have the ducklings next week and will continue to observe, write about them and learn about their life cycle. Next week we will also be learning about different ways of making 6 and 7.
