Down on the farm.
The children drew and painted some lovely images from the photos taken at Farmer Palmer's. They mixed watercolours and used permanent marker to create some really effective pieces of art. We also wrote some fantastic descriptions of the animals we had seen. We had fun using our estimating skills in maths. The children played against each other using jelly beans as points for those who made the best estimations. Next week we will re-visit doubling and halving and will start the week by baking 'Biscuit Bears', as this will also be our book of the week.
