School council elections

Year 4 have got off to a very democratic start this year by holding elections for the school council, house captains and play leaders.

The school council will provide a voice for the children over the year and will allow them to affect changes to help make our school an even better place.

Mrs Richardson held the first school council meeting this morning, where the children helped to decide on our school behaviour policy.

House captains will set the example for the younger children in the school and will hopefully collect the coveted house point trophy at the end of the year.

The play leaders will be in the playground to help all of the children at break time who would like to learn a new game, are unsure of where equipment is, or just as a friendly face to talk to.
