Amendment to our Admissions Policy for 2021/22
Along with other church schools, the School requested an amendment to the wording of our Admissions Policy for 2021/22 to clarify the position regarding regular church attendance for faith applications. The change is to make it clear that monthly church attendance during the COVID-19 lockdown has not been possible. The previous wording required faith applicants to have attended church regularly for a minimum period of 12 months prior to application. The change has clarified that this requirement does not apply to periods when the church was unavailable for public worship. The amendment to the 2021/22 policy has been approved by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator.
The amended policy has replaced the previous version on the 'Hampreston Admissions Policy 2021/22 link below.
The School is part of our Local Authority's In-Year Co-Ordination Scheme. Any person wishing to apply for an in-year place at the School should therefore contact Dorset Council (our Local Authority) for an application form. The Local Authority will liaise with the School to ensure that any in-year applications are processed in accordance with our admission arrangements.
