Staff and Governors at Hampreston CE (VA) First School are committed to providing equity in order to ensure equality. This involves tackling the barriers to learning regardless of race, religion, gender, disability and economic disadvantage. Hampreston CE (VA) First School actively seeks and values opportunities for Staff, Pupils, Parents and Carers to celebrate diversity within the school and community whilst challenging bullying and stereotypes, creating an environment that champions respect for all.

SEND Code of Practice (SENDIASS)

A new Code of Practice for children with special educational needs and disabilities was published in July 2014.  This provides schools with information on how to support children and their families who require additional support to reach the expectations for their age and access all aspects of school life and curriculum.
